"The Changing Politics of Victim Rights and Services: International, National, State, and Local Perspectives"
The evolution of victim rights and services has been the result of
efforts to effect social and political change at all levels of
interaction, from the United Nations to the local city council. While
there has been notable progress over the years, the potential for
improved rights and services is significant. This symposium will explore
the successes and limitations of victim rights and services and the political dynamics that support or impede progress though presentations and facilitated discussions.
